BistroThe Derwentlodge Bistro provides seating for one hundred people with easy access to the outside decking area with magnificent views across a range of Lakeland fells. In the Bistro we offer a cooked or continental breakfast from seven am in the morning with local produce from the scales farm of free range eggs and Cumberland sausage. In the day time you can enjoy a light lunch served with style in beautiful surroundings and fresh ground coffee and cake from our range of pastries. In the evening you can enjoy our head chef's imaginative dinners in front of our magnificent roaring log fire. Finally make sure you leave room for our excellent homemade puddings such as apple crumble, sticky toffee and spotted dick like mother used to make it. Finally our head chefs speciality is our all day Sunday Carvery where you can choose from a range of fresh meat and vegetables with all the trimmings. |
